Our Society's second AGM was hosted in beautiful Springbank, Alberta. It was well attended and we were able to achieve quorum on all motions. Verna lead the meeting and all motions were passed swiftly and unanimously. Resignations accepted from Elke Nowicki and Kim McKrimmon. Two new board members were elected; Cristiana Manole and Helen Low. We were graced with Cynthia Hutchisons' presence, who sat in circle with us and answered our questions about Healing Touch Program. Cynthia is the Program Director for Healing Touch Program.
Our Board continues to work hard to build the framework that will sustain our organization for years to come. We thank all the members who were able to join us for the meeting and the following social. As the formal meeting only lasted 30 minutes, we had lots of time to visit and catch up with members.
