​DUE TO COVID, WE DECIDED TO CHANGE IT UP A BIT!

We've created this site, as well as a Facebook site, to post our auction items for viewing.

Funds raised through this event will go towards our SHTPA Bursaries Fund for Healing Touch Program students in financial need. 
If you would like to support the cause, we are always looking for local businesses to donate items for the silent auction. 

Please note that ALL BIDDING will take place on our FACEBOOK Auction site.

This is a public auction and we would greatly appreciate it if you shared our sites with your friends and family and

We  will accept New items, various types of services, artwork, skillfully crafted or handmade items, and vintage items in good condition.  Please no live food donations, used clothing or linens. 
Please note: Gently used items may be bundled together in a single lot depending on their assessed value and quality.

A brief description of the item, including:
  • size or dimensions (if applicable);
  • type of material (if relevant, i.e. wood, cotton, wool, etc.);
  • original value
  • the donor/maker (if desired);
  • its provenance (where it comes from), if desired

Viewing on this website will go live on Saturday May 15th, 2021. The Facebook auction page will be live before the auction date.
Please DO NOT share individual items with others as we will not track off-page bids.  Please share the page or invite them to Like the page. 
Continue to check back as we update the sites with items as we are logging them live.

BIDDING OPENS AT 12:00 pm, Thursday, May 27th through 6:00 pm, Saturday May 29th, 2021.
ANY BIDS MADE BEFORE THE OPENING WILL BE DELETED.  Facebook does not allow comment blocking for this site.
This is an open auction and you will be able to track the bids on Facebook on each item.

Each lot will have an individual posting here on our website and on our SHTPA Auction Facebook Page; lot numbers will be the same on both  sites.
  • Bids can be made in the comments section for each posting and will be visible to the public.  
  • Bids will be in minimum $5 incremen ts.  If there is a reserve on the item, it will be posted as the first entry.
​Please do not post personal messages here.  This is a public space, representing SHTPA. 
If you do not have Facebook, please see the instructions below for alternatives.

Please Note:  Entries made before bidding begins will be deleted.  Repeated offenders will be barred from the site. 

​Items will be awarded to the final, highest bid, at the time of close, 6:00 pm, Saturday May 29th. 
You will be messaged on Facebook Messenger and given further instructions for payment and a request to email us directly at AuctionSHTPA@gmail.com for further contact.

Payment must be made within 48 hours of the close of bidding (by 6:00 pm, Monday, May 31st, 2021.)
Payment may be made via e-transfer, credit card, or if you are a member of SHTPA, by cash or cheque on delivery or pick-up. E-transfers can be sent to financeshtpa@gmail.com.

Arrangements will be made with the Bid Winners directly for pickup or delivery.

​We understand that not everyone uses Facebook.  Items may be viewed here on our website so you know what you want to bid on.  
If you have a Facebook presence, please use it. If not, here are some other options:
  • Join the Social Media Scene!  Create your own Facebook profile Page at www.facebook.com.    It's a great way to promote your healing business!
  • Ask a friend who is on Facebook to enter your bids for you.  Ask them to list your name,  last initial and the bid (i.e.  VernaB, 25)  in the posting.
  • Email Carley Caruso at AuctionSHTPA@gmail.com ahead of time to let her know that you will be bidding by phone, text, or email.  She will provide you with the information you need and will post your bids for you.  She may give you a volunteer's contact info to support you in this as well.
